JoJo the gaffetastic idiot.

April 30, 2009

I swear, they only let this idiot speak without a VTOTUS because, in comparison, he makes Barry look like a friggin’ genius! When even Lauer challenges JoJo on this, you know it sounds stupid.

I guess this is Team Obamas week for scaring the crap out of people. First this, and now the public transportation panic.

BIDEN: I would tell members of my family, and I have, that I wouldn’t go anywhere in confined places now. It’s not that it’s going to Mexico, in a confined aircraft when one person sneezes, it goes all the way through the aircraft. That’s me. I would not be, if I had another way, another way of transportation, suggesting they ride the subway.

JoJo apparently went back to his spot next to the 0’s desk, got slapped in the head for his stupid comment, and rushed to release this gem:

“On the Today Show this morning, the vice president was asked what he would tell a family member who was considering air travel to Mexico this week. The advice he is giving family members is the same advice the administration is giving to all Americans: that they should avoid unnecessary air travel to and from Mexico. If they are sick, they should avoid airplanes and other confined public spaces, such as subways. This is the advice the vice president has given family members who are traveling by commercial airline this week. As the president said just last night, every American should take the same steps you would take to prevent any other flu: Keep your hands washed; cover your mouth when you cough; stay home from work if you’re sick and keep your children home from school if they’re sick.”

My take…

April 30, 2009

Well, the photos that the ACLU and the moonbats are on the way.  I hope commands worldwide are hunkering dow for this, it may get ugly.

Apparently, the administration has not studies the broad reaching (2nd, 3rd, etc. level) effects this can have. From inflaming the already touchy jihadis, to providing recruitment material, to breaking down fragile trusts still in the building process in the Middle East.

I ask you Mr. President, is your debt to the ACLU, the extreme left and the like so large you will put at risk the very people your swore an oath to protect? Lest you forget, you are the CinC. Part of being a good leader means making the tough decisions you know have to be made, to complete the mission at hand. This will cause chaos, and the blood of those killed will be on your hands. You can bring this to a screeching halt.

Abu Ghuraib was wrong. There is no disputing that it was an out of control mess. Head should and did roll. Let it end.  Seal the photos, take the hit from the extreme left, and keep in mind you are being a good commander. The situation has been fixed, and it is time to drive on.

Are you prepared, Mr. President, for what is coming? This could ignite a firestorm, and all for the sake of pandering to extremists. I hop I am wrong, and this will not blow up in this nations face. Do not gamble with our soldiers lives for the sake of political points.

First step, end dissention. Talk radio in the crosshairs.

Censors for talk radio expected within 90 days.

This is why I made the move to satellite radio about 3 months ago. Many great hosts are already there, and i am sure more will come. For those that may be on the fence for Sirius/XM, as I was, it is worth the cost. Let the libs have the free airwaves, we conservatives can move our message into orbit.

Dudes get the beatdown from a marching band girl.

April 30, 2009

AP

QUARTZ HILL, Calif. (AP) — Don’t mess with a marching band girl, especially one armed with a baton. A 17-year-old high school marching band student beat up two assailants who tried to mug her as she walked to school in this high desert community about 40 miles north of Los Angeles, sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.

The girl punched one of the men in the nose, kicked the other in the groin and beat both with her large baton before she ran away on Friday morning, officials said.

“The moral to this story is don’t mess with the marching band girls, or you just might get what you deserve,” said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Michael Rust.

He said two men approached the girl from behind, grabbed her coat and demanded money. Deputies searched near Quartz Hill High School for the muggers, looking for a man who was holding his bloodied nose and the other limping.

No arrests have been made, but Rust said it appears the girl made her point to her assailants.

“Final score: Marching band 2, thugs 0,” Rust quipped.

I predict these two a-holes will be someones girlfriends in jail.

Something to remember next time I feel to tired to help someone out.

Really quite something. I hope someone was able to gets his thoughts and memories written down. Imagine what he has seen and done…

Marines new amphib under the knife.

Top U.S. Marine defends $13 billion amphibious tank | Politics | Reuters.

Hey Mr. Gates, leave something in the pipeline in case we have to fight a high intensity war, that might require, oh I don’t know, beach landings.

The SecDef is already playing around with the Army FCS. While I understand the need to learn from current fighting, the possibly of having near total battlefield awareness is vital.

Of equal, if not greater importance, is having the heavy hardware integrated into the system as well.  Not all future wars will be of the guerrilla style, after all. Upgraded vehicles, Unmanned Aerial assets and NLOS  mortar and cannon can bring heavy fire quickly on a target. In some cases, without the risk of harm to friendly forces.

All the recon in the world will not help in you cannot bring the hurt down on the bad guys at the target. It is called a system, after all. Missing pieces can bring the whole thing to a grinding halt.
